This photo encapsulates my mood of late, thinking of things near and far. In the last couple weeks the weather has warmed and allowed the bulbs to start waking up bringing with it the anticipation of spring arriving. I feel it in my body with the urge to work outside, to do the pruning, start seedlings and more often than not, acquire bright colours. Sadly, I have also been thinking of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia this month. I do not want to sit quietly by and simply watch. There may not be alot I can do from here but I thought the least I could do is try and contribute through my art. So I started a little sunflower painting. I will finish it up in the next day or two and post it for sale with it's proceeds going to relief help for Ukraine.
